Arijana Lipovec
Arijana Lipovec, M.Sc., is the owner and director of LAB3 zavarovalno posredovanje d.o.o. (insurance intermediation, limited liability company) and has many years of experience in insurance, as for several years she was the director of a Slovene insurance company and later of a financial consulting group.
After graduation, she worked as an intern at Kemofarmacija, where she got into economy. In 1991, she started working in a financial consulting company. She became very interested in finance and in the following year she enrolled in a postgraduate program in economy at the University of Ljubljana, finishing it in 1995 as the first in her class, despite having a family and other obligations.
In 1994, she started working at Zavarovalnica Tilia as a salesperson. Within three years, she became head of property insurance sales at the Ljubljana office, and in 2001, she was promoted to director. Arijana has extensive knowledge about insurance programs and knows from practice how they should be used and combined to get the best possible insurance cover.
After ten years in a insurance company, Arijana decided for her own insurance consulting business and founded a company. At first, she was director of insurance in a financial group. In 2006, she became director of LAB3, that deals solely with property and personal insurance consulting for companies. For many years now she is the President of the Chamber at the Association of Slovenian insurance brokers and a member of Examiners to test the insurance brokerage skills in the framework of the Slovenian Insurance Association.
