LAB3, zavarovalno posredovanje d.o.o., is an independent insurance broker specializing in corporate insurance and management of complex risks. We have been operating in the insurance market since 2006 and collaborate with Slovenian and international insurance companies.
Our approach goes beyond simply optimizing insurance premiums. We focus on comprehensive risk management, timely identification of exposures, and establishment of appropriate insurance coverage that provides companies with effective protection even in the event of major claims.
We are supported by the international Brokerslink network, which enables us to support clients with insurance in more than 130 countries worldwide through verified local partners, as well as access to international expertise, insurance and reinsurance markets, and specialized solutions.
We establish long-term partnerships with clients based on understanding their business, objectives, and risks. We act as an independent professional partner that ensures stability, reliability, and constant availability throughout the entire lifecycle of insurance solutions—from designing the insurance program to providing support in the event of claims.

Company Management
Arijana Lipovec
The company is led by Arijana Lipovec, M.Sc., a recognized insurance professional with more than 30 years of experience in insurance and risk management. Throughout her career, she has held numerous managerial and professional positions, including Director of the Ljubljana Regional Unit at Zavarovalnica Tilia d.d., and currently also serves as President of the Court of Honor at the Association of Insurance Brokers of Slovenia.

Luka Lipovec
An important part of the management team is also Luka Lipovec, Deputy Director and authorized representative, who has been with the company since 2017. Through his work, he contributes a modern, analytical, and data-driven approach to insurance risk management. He has gained experience in both the Slovenian and international markets, and has further enhanced his professional knowledge by completing the Vienna International Underwriters – Underwriting and Claims Handling Academy (2019–2021).

Association of Insurance Brokers
LAB3 is a member of the Association of Insurance Brokers of Slovenia (ZZPS). ZZPS members operate in accordance with the Code of Good Business Practice (https://zzps.gzs.si/vsebina/Kodeks-ZZPS). The Code is intended to uphold the principles of fair competition, professional ethics, and morality. It defines good business practices and unacceptable conduct in the performance of insurance brokerage services.
The Code further commits ZZPS members to compliance with laws and regulations that clearly define the responsibility of insurance brokers to act in the interest of policyholders. By establishing professional business criteria, the Code promotes the development of insurance brokerage activities in Slovenia and raises the quality of services (source: Association of Insurance Brokers).
ABC of Insurance
A handbook for everyone who wants to understand insurance
The book ABC of Insurance was written by the director of LAB3, zavarovalno svetovanje, d.o.o., Arijana Lipovec, M.Sc., who, with more than a decade of experience in leading positions at Slovenian insurance companies, reveals the world of insurance in a clear and practical manner. The book is a fundamental handbook for households and businesses, as it clearly guides the reader from identifying risks to selecting appropriate types of property insurance, such as fire, burglary, liability, and others. Special emphasis is placed on proper determination of property value, conclusion of insurance policies, and correct procedures for filing claims in the event of loss.
